Zaakirah is an analyst specializing in carbon footprinting and feasibility modelling for various business service clients. Her expertise lies in designing carbon footprint and feasibility models for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in sectors such as mining, metals, diamonds, and ICT. Within Carbon Trust Africa, she serves as the regional knowledge coordinator for value chain carbon footprinting modelling, Science-Based Target setting, and Net Zero initiatives. Her role involves understanding the fundamentals and key drivers of different types of footprinting services. 

Zaakirah holds a BCom Honours Degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Stellenbosch.
