Fernanda joined the Carbon Trust in 2020 as part of the Green Finance team. Her work focuses on delivering financial analysis, data modelling and other advice/support as part of our consultancy activities around green finance. 

Fernanda specialises in portfolio footprinting for financial institutions, and she has been involved in the identification of climate-change related risks and opportunities relevant for a range of industries. 

Prior to the Carbon Trust, Fernanda was in Mexico City where she spent over five years in the financial sector.  She worked in corporate credit risk, portfolio management and regulatory reporting. Her expertise involves data analysis and interpretation. 

Fernanda holds an MSc in Sustainability and Consultancy from the University of Leeds, and a BSc in Actuarial Science from Universidad Anahuac Norte in Mexico City.
