Laurence is an EU policy expert and analyst within the Business Services team at the Carbon Trust.

Leveraging his MSc in International and European Policy from the University of Edinburgh, he helps businesses navigate the impact of the increasingly complex climate and regulatory landscape. His strong research and policy analysis, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the EU Green Deal, CSRD and CBAM, help him coordinate EU policy to help futureproof organisations to upcoming regulatory shifts.

He additionally specialises in carbon footprinting, product carbon footprinting, organisational carbon verification and climate projects funded work in the manufacturing sector, particularly heavy industry.
