Kalyani joined Carbon Trust as an analyst with the Singapore office, focusing on energy efficiency as part of the ASEAN Low Carbon Energy Programme. 

Before joining Carbon Trust, Kalyani completed her Master’s in Environmental Management at the Yale School of Environment. Her specialisation was in sustainable finance, with a focus on market solutions for environmental challenges. Prior to Yale, Kalyani spent almost three years working at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), an impact investment company based in Singapore. As part of the Business Development and Advisory Team, Kalyani's work involved conceptualizing new products and services for IIX; developing research and advisory reports for INGOs, corporations, donors and foundations; as well as engaging in partnership development and program execution.

Kalyani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Warwick, UK.
