Senior Manager
James is a Senior Manager within the Business Services team and specialises in Scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation strategy and transition plan development. He has delivered energy consultancy services for various industries and public sector bodies with significant experience in food and drink retail. James has over 24 years engineering and project management experience with a strong technical knowledge base built up through energy auditing. Throughout his work at the Carbon Trust, James has worked to help clients improve carbon management and tackle their responsibilities regarding climate change.
This has involved recent project management and delivery of work for retail and food sector clients such as pladis, Musgraves, Tirlán and Whitbread. Building on this range of experience James now leads the Carbon Trust's Scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation proposition including detailed forecast modelling which enables companies to effectively plan towards science-based targets or to meet the aims of their decarbonisation strategies.
James is a Chartered Engineer, holding a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He is a member of the Energy Institute and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
