Eric is CEO – Livelihoods Venture.

He started his career in strategy consulting and merger and acquisitions, and held several general management positions in the medical device industry, as well as at Danone where he lastly oversaw the sustainability strategy of the company. On 1 September 2021, Eric joined Unilever as Managing Director of Unilever Climate and Nature Fund and Vice-President Sustainable Sourcing. Unilever decided in 2020 to invest €1bn over the next 10 years to take decisive action to protect the health of our planet, accelerating brand-led initiatives.

In June 2024, Eric was appointed CEO of Livelihoods Venture, a social business based in Paris which manages the design, implementation and monitoring of nature-based solutions projects. The organisation is currently operating 3 Carbon Funds and is about to launch a 4th Carbon Fund to serve the zero net commitments of its long-term committed corporate investors. Livelihoods has also developed its technical and financial support in sustainable agriculture to meet companies’ needs in the transformation of their supply chains through its L3F Fund (Livelihoods Fund for Family Farming).  

Eric serves as non-executive director of the Carbon Trust and The Gold Standard Foundation.
