Calling for entries from companies and consortia interested in undertaking a study to define a detailed roadmap for qualification and subsequent maturation of the dynamic, lead-free 132 kV cables (wet and dry) for offshore wind applications.

The Floating Wind JIP would like to:

• Leverage existing 66 kV cable standards to identify which aspects can be adapted for 132 kV dynamic cables.
• Carry out stakeholder engagement with cable suppliers, electrical equipment manufacturers, and material suppliers, to collaboratively understand qualification requirements of 132 kV dynamic cables.
• Develop a detailed roadmap that outlines each step of the qualification and maturation process, including timelines, milestones, and responsibilities.

The deadline for clarification questions is 3 September 2024.

The closing date to receive tender submissions is 1 October 2024.
