Renata is an Associate Director and Co-Head of the Carbon Trust’s Africa office, with over ten years’ experience in the sustainability space. She joined the Carbon Trust in 2020 and leads the development of new work across the African continent with corporate clients and ensuring its effective delivery. She is responsible for the commercial operations and team's development, while ensuring that Carbon Trust plays a leading role in supporting the continent's decarbonisation. Renata was also appointed as an Employee Director to the Carbon Trust’s Board in 2024.

Renata manages innovative projects supporting corporate clients with defining low carbon ambition, developing decarbonisation strategies, plans and targets to deliver their transition plans, enhancing their carbon accounting and reporting practices, and providing sustainable finance support.

Renata is also a non-industry member of the Responsible Jewellery Council’s Standards Committee.
