Marta has over 10 years’ experience in environmental sustainability, helping companies identify and implement their opportunities to improve resource use and become both more efficient and more sustainable. Her expertise includes sustainability strategy development, value chain and supply chain footprinting, supplier engagement and science-based targets evaluation. Her sector experience includes FMCG, manufacturing, construction and retail.

Marta has played a key role in developing the Carbon Trust Standard for Supply Chain, and she also leads the Carbon Trust business development activities in Spain and Portugal.

Prior to working at the Carbon Trust, Marta drove the identification and successful implementation of a range of optimisation projects while working for Procter & Gamble.

Marta has a MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and an MSc with Distinction in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.
