Stefan works within Carbon Trust’s Cities and Region team as a manager based in Cardiff. He leads several Net Zero projects and supports organisations on their decarbonisation journey with a special interest in social housing. Within the Welsh Government Energy Service, Stefan is the Development Manager for several Welsh public bodies where he provides technical expertise on energy efficiency, particularly heating technologies, for large-scale building refurbishment projects from opportunity screening to implementation.

Stefan holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a PhD in hydropower technology. He is also a certified Energy Consultant and Master-Craftsman in HVAC-Engineering (both German qualifications).
