Sebastian is a multidisciplinary engineer with more than 5 years of relevant experience in sustainable energy and climate change. Sebastian has worked with different companies on a wide range of topics from environmental sustainability, renewable energy, carbon footprinting, energy & sustainability management, and energy efficiency.

Based in the Carbon Trust’s office in Mexico, Sebastian collaborates in two areas: Corporate Sustainability and Clean Energy. In Corporate Sustainability, he focuses on providing carbon footprinting (organisational, value chain, and product) and assurance services for international companies. While in Clean Energy he has delivered projects related to energy efficiency, solar energy, energy storage, electric vehicles, time-of-use tariffs, and demand-side flexibility for Latin America.

Sebastian has a MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, a Diploma in Use and Applications of Renewable Energy from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya, and a BSc in Sustainable Development Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
