Rosanna is a policy specialist in the Programmes and Innovation team with regional expertise of East Asia. She focuses on the intersection of environmental sustainability and economic/industrial development by increasing international policy collaboration to achieve common economic and sustainability goals.

At the Carbon Trust, Rosanna has boosted net-zero related policies in collaboration with high-level forums on sustainability, mainly in the offshore renewables and maritime sector. Previously, Rosanna gained experience in academic research with the University of Cambridge. She also has 3 years’ experience working in the Economic Section of the Embassy of Japan, where she was responsible for economic policy analysis on topics such as renewable energy, international trade, and environmental policy.

She applies her multi-sectoral experience in academic research, foreign diplomacy, and private sector consulting to deliver impactful projects that require complex stakeholder engagement, cross-cultural understanding, as well as in-depth research on economic development pathways.

Rosanna holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Japanese and Chinese Studies from the University of London, SOAS.
