Fiona joined the Carbon Trust in late 2023 and is the Hydrogen Lead within the Energy Transition Team. Fiona heads up all hydrogen activity which includes our groundbreaking joint industry initiative - Clean Hydrogen Innovation Programme which is focussed on supporting developers and supply chain organisations to work together to resolve technical barriers by innovating thereby accelerating the uptake of hydrogen technologies in the UK leading to economic growth and job creation.

Fiona has worked in the hydrogen sector for over 14 years and brings a wealth of experience in leading on a diverse range hydrogen programmes predominantly in Scotland. Fiona was one of founders of the Hydrogen Accelerator to support the acceleration of the hydrogen sector in Scotland/UK, supporting the renewables sector and the just transition to a green future. She also received the Stewart Dow Innovation Award in 2020 for her contribution to the Growth of the Hydrogen Sector in the UK.
