Eleonora is a Senior Analyst who specialises in product carbon footprinting and supports organisations in measuring, managing and reducing their carbon emissions. Her expertise is primarily focused on the agriculture, food and beverage, mining, metals and jewellery sectors. Before joining the Carbon Trust, Eleonora gained experience in academia and non-governmental organisations, where she conducted research on microplastics in Dutch canals and contributed to the development and evaluation of a strategic roadmap for expanding rooftop solar panel coverage.

Eleonora has an MSc in Sustainable Development with a focus on environmental change and ecosystems. For her thesis she studied the climate change impacts and adaptation strategies for wine producers. She is fluent in Italian, English, Dutch and has intermediate proficiency of both Spanish and French.
