Brian is a Senior Analyst at the Carbon Trust with experience in accelerating environmental sustainability in private and public sector spaces. Brian is involved in the programme administration of UK FCDO Transforming Energy Access (TEA) programme (Scale Up Delivery, Phase 2 implemented in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and developing ASEAN) as well as the Powering Renewable Energy Opportunities (PREO) programme. Prior to joining the Carbon Trust, Brian was a Programme Management Associate at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Sub-regional office for Southern Africa where he focused on developing interventions for combating the triple planetary crises of climate change, loss of nature/biodiversity and pollution/waste. Brian holds an MEng in Environmental Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
