Ana has extensive experience across local governments, non-profits, and the private sector, covering operational, management, compliance, and commercial areas.
She has been involved in over 50 feasibility studies and carbon mitigation projects worldwide. Ana successfully designed and registered the first large-scale Programme of Activities under the Clean Development Mechanism: the "Mexican Renewable Energy Alliance." She is recognized as one of Mexico's leading experts in flexible mechanisms under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Ana has played a key role in shaping emission reduction mechanisms in Mexico, guiding decision-makers and stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
Currently, Ana serves as Corporate Services Manager at Carbon Trust, leading business development in Mexico and Central America, as well as projects on emission inventories and financial materiality analysis related to climate change.
