In this webinar series, we explored key topics including the role of flexibility in local energy systems, transport and heat decarbonisation, and provided the opportunity to hear different perspectives from across industry and public sector through moderated discussions. The webinar series also provided an introduction to the Flexibility in Great Britain project, a vital project that will investigate the role of a flexible energy system in achieving a net zero economy by a new cross sector consortium.

The project, led by the Carbon Trust and supported by Imperial College, will explore the potential for an integrated and flexible energy system to reduce the cost of reaching the UK's net zero goal by 2050.
