The Clean Cooling Collaborative (previously the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program – KCEP) has piloted innovative approaches to unlocking finance through targeted grants to inform and orient the capital needed to integrate energy efficiency improvements with the transition away from fluorinated gases.

Overview
In partnership with the Clean Cooling Collaborative, the Carbon Trust managed the finance window of the programme. This involved the design and implementation of the application process and on-going support and guidance to the six grantees throughout the duration of the grant.
We have worked with the Clean Cooling Collaborative to produce a detailed set of case studies (and accompanying executive summary) to summarise core findings, challenges, and lessons learned from the last four years of the Clean Cooling Collaborative’s finance programme.
