Calling for entries from companies and consortia interested in undertaking a study for the OWA Logistics and O&M Technical Working Group (TWG-L) that will investigate how to optimise the use of spare parts utilising central logistical hubs for multiple wind farm sites.

The main objectives of this work are to:

• Understand and assess the current spare part strategies used across the industry. 
• Examine the potential learnings from other relevant industries and organisations for how better to optimise the supply chain of spare parts. 
• Undertake a detailed equipment and spare parts assessment for the implantation of a shared spare parts hub. 
• Create a road map detailing the next steps and the infrastructure needed for potential future implementation. 

The expected benefits of this work are that it will help to improve logistical efficiencies in the operation of offshore wind farms.
