Applications for the Inclusive Smart Solutions programme are now open

A budget of up to £100,000 has been made available today for projects working on innovative solutions to support low-income and vulnerable consumers in the UK to benefit from the future smart, flexible energy system.

In addition, solutions will be put through a 12-month programme to help their product or service become market-viable. All solutions will be supported to go through significant consumer testing and demonstration. This will give innovators a robust and evidenced understanding of the consumer benefits of the solution.

The Inclusive Smart Solutions (ISS) programme is designed to foster business opportunities dedicated to developing inclusive energy solutions. It is funded by Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) and is led by Energy Systems Catapult with support from the Carbon Trust, IPSOS and TPX impact.

To support the application process we are hosting three stakeholder clinics in which attendees can book one-on-one conversations with our experts to ask questions about the process and how to complete their application.
