La Carbon Neutrality è un argomento interessante quanto spinoso che va affrontato utilizzando riferimenti normativi riconosciuti.

Carbon Trust certifica organizzazioni, prodotti ed eventi secondo PAS 2060, ovvero la specifica riconosciuta a livello internazionale che stabilisce i requisiti per la quantificazione, la riduzione e la compensazione delle emissioni di gas serra (GHG).

Carbon Trust è un partner indipendente di esperti che collaborano con le principali organizzazioni leader mondiali per fornire a queste ultime soluzioni atte a ridurre le proprie emissioni GHG, efficientare l'uso delle risorse ed implementare tecnologie a basse emissioni. La missione di Carbon Trust è quella di accelerare la realizzazione di un'economia sostenibile e a basse emissioni di carbonio.

Il Tea Corner, che si terrà il 13 maggio 2020 alle ore 17.00 (durata 30 min), sarà l'occasione per ricevere un'introduzione sulla carbon neutrality, direttamente dalla voce di Gregorio Giorgi, membro dei gruppi di esperti "Carbon Neutrality" e "Net Zero" di Carbon Trust.

Gregorio Giorgi fa parte dei gruppi di esperti Carbon Neutrality e Net Zero di Carbon Trust, che supportano i clienti a stabilire obiettivi scientifici e a certificarsi secondo lo standard PAS 2060. Gregorio lavora inoltre a stretto contatto con il team Green Finance, aiutando le aziende e le istituzioni finanziarie a comprendere e misurare i rischi associatio al cambiamento climatico e alla transizione verso un'economia a basse emissioni di carbonio.

Carbon neutrality - certifying your commitment to sustainability

Carbon neutrality is an interesting an thorny topic that must be addressed by referring to the relevant regulatory standards.

The Carbon Trust certifies organisations, products and events to PAS 2060 - the internationally recognised specification for the demonstration of carbon neutrality. It sets out requirements for quantification, reduction and offsetting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. 

The Carbon Trust is an independent, expert partner of leading organisations around the world, helping them contribute to and benefit from a more sustainable future through carbon reduction, resource efficiency strategies and commercialising low carbon technologies. Their mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable, low carbon economy.

The Tea Corner, held in Italian on May 13th 2020 and 5pm Italian time (duration 30 minutes), will be an opportunity to be introduced to carbon neutrality, directly from the voice of Gregorio Giorgi, member of the Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero expert groups at the Carbon Trust.

Gregorio Giorgi is a member of the Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero expert groups at the Carbon Trust, helping clients set science-based targets and certify to the global PAS 2060 standard.
