Calling for entries from companies and consortia interested in undertaking a study as part of the OWA Support Structure Damping project. This project will investigate current and future damping technologies for offshore wind support structures, with a view of extending the use of monopile foundations into deeper waters and for larger wind turbine generators (WTGs). 

The main objectives of this work are to investigate the current and innovative damping technologies to understand and evaluate their impact on foundation design and the feasibility of using monopiles in deeper water conditions with larger turbines.

The closing date to receive tender submissions is 1 December 2022 at 12:00 BST.
