Innovation strategy

Our innovation strategy work at the Carbon Trust is centred around supporting public and private sector stakeholders to develop, fund and deploy the innovations needed to reach Net Zero. 

Examples include: 

  • Working directly with corporates worldwide on innovation strategy
  • The UK’s Energy Innovation Needs Assessments methodology developed and implemented over a number of government spending reviews to prioritise public spending on Net Zero innovations.
  • The global Mission Innovation initiative dedicated to catalysing action and investment for the Net Zero transition.
